Earrings
It’s been too long since I’ve done any beading! What with my midterms done it was time to make some jewellery.
I’ve been wanting to make some wire-wrapped earrings for a while now. If you want to make some yourself, I would recommend using very soft wire so that you can wrap the wire around the earring with your fingers. I also think that these earrings would look fabulous in black or red. I stuck with a silver theme just because it’s so easy to match with any outfit.
I had fun with these blue earrings. I used a little chain to jazz up some plain blue beads. I strung the end of the chain onto the headpin, followed by the bead, and then I strung the other end of the chain over top. I found that it’s much easier to work with a long piece of chain and cut it after stringing it over the bead rather than trying to pull a tiny piece of chain around the bead. Then I bent the headpin, beads and all, with my fingers.
